Salvation Themed Paintings A red-haired little girl picks flowers in a meadow while a feminine shadow, a feminine set of hands, suggests a watching mother. There is not one shadow that does not suggest shade from a hot sun, comfort or kind company. A handsome, gray cat takes in sun on a windowsill and squints lazily through its light, blissfully disinterested in even the birds out of his reach. Beyond the windowpane, rolling, sunlit grass interrupted by the odd tree to serve as home for those flitting birds; within, the suggestion of cleans walls, hardwood floor, appealing architecture.  Although this painting resembles one filled with blood on the opposite wall, the upright piano in this particular corner is flattered with sunlight, as is the guitar--apparently painted in a reflective black lacquer--leaning against it and the harmonica thrown across its top; the well-loved tools of a musician.
